Corporate Marketing NFTs

A client called me this week looking for an agency to do an NFT project for them. The response from one of my first-choice agencies for corporate NFTs was “We have too many NFT projects for clients. Not taking new work on till 2024.”

2024 – that is crazy! What is the old line about the people who made the money during the gold rush were the folks selling the picks & shovels not the prospectors?

You may not believe in NFTs – but literally hundreds of the world’s biggest brands are minting NFTs. NFTs are being used as an extension of the loyalty program and what is key about an NFT project is that in order to be successful you need to create a community around your brand. This is new territory for Marketers – but amazing if you can get it right.

Early movers in the space were fashion/luxury brands, then sports apparel, then liquor and fast food. Now – put bluntly if you have a consumer facing brand and care about the under-30s market, you should be looking at an NFT project.
